Getting started checklist

  1. Inventory apps, databases, and static assets on the source server
  2. Match CPU, RAM, and disk to a Nexelya plan—or request a dedicated quote
  3. Schedule maintenance window and lower DNS TTL ahead of cutover
  4. Sync data (rsync, DB dump/restore, or object storage replication)
  5. Test on Nexelya staging VPS before switching production traffic
  6. Update DNS A/AAAA records or load balancer backends
  7. Monitor panel metrics and logs for 24–48 hours post-cutover

    Deploy your server

    Root access, KVM console, ISO reimage—install your game server stack your way.

  4. Step 4

    Add Managed Ops (optional)

    Backups, monitoring alerts, modpack update windows, and launch-night standby.
